Job summary

Essential Skills
  • Membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) or IFSM (Preferred)
  • Tier 2 IFSM Qualification (Essential)
  • Experience in assessing fire risks in complex social housing tenanted blocks
  • Strong knowledge of Fire Safety principles in purpose-built blocks of flats
  • Familiarity with BS 9999, Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) 2005, and PAS 79
  • Understanding of contract law, statutory regulations, and British standards
Desirable Skills
  • Surveying or building experience
  • Ability to supervise and support a team of staff and contractors
  • Strong planning and management skills
