Our services include Fire Compartmentation Surveys, Fire Door Surveys, Fire Stopping, and Fire Compartmentation Works, executed as part of a rolling program of annual inspections and/or rectification works across multi-occupancy housing, public buildings, healthcare facilities, educational establishments, student accommodations, and security-sensitive workplaces.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced FRA Technical Manager to support and develop our newly established FRA department. This role involves managing fire risk assessments, ensuring technical compliance, and leading a team of fire safety professionals across UK-wide locations, primarily home-based with travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain FRA templates for different regions and report types
  • Build and manage the accreditation matrix to ensure assessors hold necessary certifications
  • Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments across various sites, ensuring legislative compliance
  • Lead field assessments with assessors to monitor performance and ensure best practices
  • Mentor and manage a team of fire safety professionals
  • Keep updated with fire safety legislation and regulations
Qualifications and Skills
  • Membership of IFE or IFSM - Essential
  • Level 3 Certificate in Fire Risk Assessment or relevant qualification - Advantageous
  • Experience in fire risk assessment and safety management in occupied premises
  • Knowledge of SP205 requirements
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction
  • Full UK driving license
