GET Staff is seeking a Fire & Life Safety Systems Compliance Engineer to perform annual inspections across residential and communal buildings in Liverpool, Manchester, and surrounding areas. The role covers fire safety and life safety equipment, including alarms, lighting, doors, AOVs and warden call systems.

The post involves inspecting and testing systems, identifying defects, compiling reports, and liaising with site teams to implement remedial actions. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Inspecting fire safety systems and life safety equipment.
• Carrying out scheduled annual compliance inspections.
• Identifying faults, defects and potential compliance issues during inspections.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out annual inspections across residential and communal buildings.
• Inspecting fire doors, alarms, detectors and control panels.
• Testing emergency lighting and AOVs as part of routine checks.
• Completing inspection reports with accurate findings using handheld devices.
• Raising remedial works and coordinating corrective actions with site teams.
