Job summary

Dynamite Recruitment, in partnership with a leading Fire and Security business, is seeking a full-time Fire Extinguisher Technician to cover London inside the M25. You will service, maintain and install extinguishers at commercial, industrial and residential properties, ensuring compliance with current fire safety standards.

This role offers a company van, tools and mobile phone, full training and ongoing development, generous holiday allowance and a pension.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK driving licence.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Experience with servicing and installing fire safety equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and installation of fire extinguishers.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations (BS 5306).
• Inspect extinguishers and identify faults under supervision.
• Assist with repairs or replacements and develop technical skills.
• Advise clients on correct use and placement of extinguishers (once trained).
• Assist with installation of new fire extinguisher systems.

Dynamite Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading Fire and Security business, and due to their expansion their looking for a full-time Fire Extinguisher Technician to cover London, inside the M25 corridor

The role of a Fire Extinguisher Technician:

• As aTechnician, you will carry out the servicing, maintenance, and installation of fire extinguishers and related fire safety equipment at commercial, industrial, and residential properties.
• You will ensure that all systems are compliant with the latest fire safety regulations and are working efficiently to protect people and property in the event of a fire.
• Service, maintain, and install fire extinguishers across various sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards (BS 5306, etc.)
• Conduct inspections of fire extinguishers and identify faults or issues under supervision
• Support with repairs or replacements while developing your technical skills
• Provide advice to clients on the correct use, maintenance, and placement of fire extinguishers (once trained)
• Assist with the installation of new fire extinguisher systems

Key requirements:

• Successful applicant must hold a UK drivers license
• As well as attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
