Job summary

Senseco Systems Limited in London and surrounding areas is seeking a Fire Extinguisher Engineer. You'll install, service, and inspect a full range of extinguishers across client sites, ensuring compliance with UK fire safety standards and delivering high-quality, safety-focused service.

The role requires FIA or BAFE qualification, experience, driving licence, and ability to travel. You'll record visits in our in‑house systems, advise clients on extinguisher requirements, and work with site

• FIA certification or BAFE Fire Extinguisher Maintenance qualification.
• Experience installing and maintaining fire extinguishers.
• Strong understanding of UK fire safety regulations and standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload confidently.
• Good communication skills and accuracy in reporting and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to life-safety standards.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to sites not accessible by public transport.

Responsibilities

• Completing repairs, replacing components, and ensuring all equipment performs safely and effectively.

• Coordinating work professionally with clients, site managers, and internal teams.
• Maintaining a safe working environment and following all health & safety procedures.

Fire Extinguisher Engineer

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 4:30pm

Location: London and surrounding areas

Salary Range: Up to £38,000, depending on experience

Your next role

As a Fire Extinguisher Engineer, you'll play a vital part in keeping people safe and ensuring our clients remain fully compliant with UK fire safety regulations. Working within our Passive Fire team, you'll install, maintain, and inspect a wide range of fire extinguishers across different sites, providing expert guidance and delivering high-quality service. This is a hands‑on role where your technical skill, professionalism, and attention to detail make a real impact.

What you will be doing

• Installing, servicing, and maintaining a full range of fire extinguishers across client sites.

A typical week might include

• Visiting multiple client sites to complete scheduled inspections and maintenance.

• Updating electronic worksheets, timesheets, and waste transfer documentation.
• Attending training sessions to stay current with industry standards.
