We are recruiting for a Fire Engineer (Senior/Principal or Associate level) to join our growing team in Scotland. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our newly established Building Safety and Fire service, working closely with the service lead.

Our Building Safety and Fire service will work with our existing services, leveraging our Hollis One Team approach to deliver comprehensive, interdisciplinary solutions. With a robust pipeline of building safety and fire work, this role offers growth and professional development opportunities across the property lifecycle.
We seek an energetic, passionate, and entrepreneurial individual to join us in this venture, contributing to the next phase of Hollis around the Building Safety Act, the Hackitt Review, and the Grenfell Inquiry.
Create compelling proposals for clients.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Deliver value to clients and solve problems across the property lifecycle and service products, including:
Lender due diligence
Planning Gateway One fire statement
Government funding application management and delivery
Building Safety Act Clerk of Works
Construction stage fire risk assessment
Fire safety strategy
Fire and Emergency File
Conduct third-party reviews
Monitor projects to ensure compliance and quality
Develop Safety Cases and Safety Case Reports
Perform fire door, compartmentation, and fire stopping surveys
Complete EWS1 forms and fire risk appraisals of external walls (FRAEW)
Manage projects from inception to completion.
Collaborate with other services to deliver holistic solutions.
Engage in business development activities to expand our client base.
Experience in fire safety, fire engineering, and/or fire science.
Proven track record of maintaining client relationships.
Demonstrated ability to work on and solve a range of projects.
Chartered Engineer status is desirable, support provided to get you Chartered
Background in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
