Boden Group are seeking an experienced Fire Door Specialist to join our client's facilities team within a busy medical environment in Reading. This role offers an immediate start, with the strong potential to progress into a full‑time position.

Fire Door Specialist

• Monday to Friday
• £26-27 per hour
• Temporary
• Reading

Responsibilities

• Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on fire doors
• Completing installations, repairs, fitting and hanging of fire doors across the hospital
• Ensuring all works meet current fire safety and compliance standards
• Responding quickly to reactive jobs within a fast‑paced healthcare setting

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with fire doors (maintenance & installation) in roles such as Fire door carpenter, Fire door inspector, Fire door installer, Fire specialist, Fire Stopper roles
• Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and compliance
• Ability to work efficiently in a reactive environment
• Basic DBS required (we can support with this if needed)
