Job summary

Global HSE Solutions Ltd is seeking operatives with 2 years of proven experience in Fire Door Joinery and Passive Fire Protection. The role involves installation, remedial works and ensuring compliance across multiple locations. A company vehicle, fuel card and phone are provided, and travel may be required.

Applicants should hold a full UK driving licence, DBS check, and NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry/Joinery or equivalent. CSCS and SSSTS are desirable qualifications.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• DBS check is required.
• NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry/Joinery (or equivalent) is required.
• 2 years' experience in Passive Fire Protection.

Responsibilities

• Install fire doors correctly to prevent the spread of fire and smoke.
• Carry out fire door remedial works, identify defects, and complete repairs to achieve compliance.
• Ensure all works comply with manufacturer instructions, British Standards, and third-party certification.

Role Overview

As our southern teams grows, we're looking for operatives with 2 years' proven experience in Fire Door Joinery/Carpentry and a strong understanding of PFP (Passive Fire Protection) standards. Willing to travel – Global HSE offers diverse job opportunities across various locations. This role includes a company phone, company vehicle and fuel card.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence
• DBS checked
• NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry/Joinery (or equivalent)
• 2 years' experience in Passive Fire Protection
• Operate phone software to log and record works
• SSSTS desirable
• CSCS desirable
