Job summary

EQUANS is seeking two Fire Door Inspectors based from Bellshill, covering sites across the Central Belt of Scotland. This full-time role involves inspecting fire doors, using PDA devices, and reporting inspection status while maintaining safety and compliance.

You will build relationships with clients and stakeholders, keep thorough documentation, and support other EQUANS projects as required. A valid UK driving licence and relevant qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in conducting Fire Door Inspections is essential.
• Strong ability to work independently and unsupervised.
• Confident communicator with customer service skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct timely and cost-effective inspections of fire doors on assigned sites.
• Use PDA/tablet devices to follow inspection checklists and report status of fire doors.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain precise documentation of inspections and related work.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure full compliance during inspections.
• Keep company vehicles and equipment clean and maintained.
• Safely handle and set up required tools and machinery.
• Adhere to safety guidelines while on job sites.
• Ensure all fire door specs and regulatory requirements are met.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide flexibility to support other EQUANS projects or tasks as directed.
