Pyra Recruitment Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Fire Door Engineer to join a growing team. The role focuses on surveys, repairs and replacements across residential blocks, with travel to High Wycombe and surrounding areas.

You will handle fire door assessments, identify defects, and perform remedial work ensuring safety and compliance. The ideal candidate manages workloads independently, uses a bespoke app for documentation, and holds a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Fire Door Engineer or similar role.
• Solid understanding of fire door components, installation standards and common defects.
• Ability to assess defects and decide on remedial actions vs replacements.
• Comfort with using a mobile app to record jobs and photographic evidence.

Responsibilities

• Survey and assess existing fire doors before commencing work.
• Identify defects and recommend remedial actions.
• Carry out repairs, remedial works, maintenance and replacements.
• Work on communal and flat entrance doors in residential buildings.
• Ensure works meet specifications and installation standards.
• Record work using the company app with photos.
