Job summary

A leading fire protection contractor is seeking experienced Fire Door Carpenters for ongoing temporary work in South Wales. The role involves installing and maintaining fire doors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Ideal candidates will have proven experience, an NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry, and a valid CSCS card. Full set of tools and PPE is required. Competitive hourly rate available.

Fire Door Carpenter – South Wales (Temporary Ongoing Work)

Location: South Wales | Job Type: Temporary Ongoing | Company: Leading Fire Protection Contractor | Hours: 8 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday

We are currently seeking multiple experienced Fire Door Carpenters to join a reputable fire protection company on an ongoing temporary basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting and maintaining fire doors across a variety of sites and builds throughout the South Wales region.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, adjustment, and maintenance of fire doors and frames
• Ensuring all work meets current fire safety and building regulations
• Carrying out remedial works and inspections where required
• Working effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail

Requirements

• Proven experience fitting fire doors
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry or equivalent qualification (preferred)
• Full set of own tools and PPE
• Valid CSCS card
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across South Wales
