Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking a Fire Door Carpenter in Guildford, for an ongoing temp assignment. The role covers installing, upgrading and repairing fire doors (FD30s/FD60s), fitting strips and seals, and ensuring FRA compliance. A full UK driving licence and own tools are required.

Candidates should have proven FRA/Fire Door experience, a van, and be comfortable performing minor multi-trade tasks as needed on housing or social projects in the Guildford area.

We supply candidates from executive to operative level, and are currently working with a Housing Association, who are looking for a FRA Carpenter working in Guildford.

Day to Day:

• Carrying out fire door installs, upgrades and repairs (FD30s / FD60s)
• Fitting intumescent strips, smoke seals, hinges, locks and door closers
• Ensuring all work meets FRA and compliance standards
• Minor multi-trade tasks where required
