Job summary

ALECTO RECRUITMENT LTD is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Engineer for UK-wide opportunities across fire alarm and security systems. This role covers installation, servicing and maintenance, with a focus on fault finding and high-quality workmanship.

You will diagnose faults, carry out repairs and perform routine inspections on systems such as fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms and access control, while keeping customers satisfied and maintaining accurate service records.

What are we looking for?

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience working as a Fire & Security Engineer, Fire Alarm Engineer, Security Systems Engineer or a similar role.
• Practical experience with the installation, servicing or maintenance of relevant systems.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A professional approach and the ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• A full UK driving licence, where required for the role.

Experience with systems such as Gent, Advanced, Notifier, Morley, Paxton, Galaxy, Texecom, Hikvision or similar equipment would be beneficial, depending on your specialism.

Relevant industry qualifications, manufacturer training and certifications such as FIA, ECS or manufacturer-specific accreditations would also be advantageous.
