This is an exciting time for the business as they have made multiple acquisitions across the UK with the ambition to be at the forefront of providing Service, Maintenance and Installation fo9r Intruder alarms and fire alarms across the UK.

You’ll be given a clear and concise timetable of work and scheduling.
Fire and Safety Engineer Benefits & Salary
- £35,000 - £40,000 p/a - depending on experience
- 20 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays
- 8.30am – 17.00pm Monday – Friday
- Contribution Pension Scheme
- Company Van (Available for personal use – With access for partner to be insured)
- Overtime paid after 30 minutes of travel time or outside core hours (9.00am-17.30pm)
- Favourable on call rates and hours (1 weekend in 4 – Moving to 1 weekend in 7, once recruitment has been completed.
Fire and Safety Engineer Duties & Responsibilities
- Service and maintenance of a wide range or intruder alarm systems and fire safety systems.
- Responsible for the safe, compliant servicing and maintenance of fire and security systems.
- Visiting a wide range of both commercial and domestic businesses across the South East Wales region.
- Delivering an excellent level of customer service across the business portfolio.
- Deliver excellent customer service while providing technical advice to ensure all systems meet compliance and performance standards.
- Utilize your problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through consistent and professional communication.
- Lead by example in a team setting, demonstrating professionalism and a detail-oriented approach in all tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Fire and/or Security Servicing.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as NSI PD6662 (Intruder Alarms), NCP 104 & BS EN 62676 (CCTV), and NCP 109 (Access Control).
- Proficient in networking and systems including LAN/WAN, POE, Microsoft OS (XP to Windows 10), switches/routers, SQL, XML, and MS Office.
- Experience with integrated systems and various security technologies including CCTV & PA Systems (e.g., Hikvision, Bosch, Axis), Access Control (e.g., Salto, Paxton), and Fire Alarms (e.g., Gent, CTEC).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Full UK Driving Licence and fluent in English.
