Job summary

A leading engineering company in Belfast is seeking a Fire and Security Maintenance Engineer to ensure high standards of service and support. You will be responsible for planned maintenance, installation of systems like fire alarms and CCTV, and strong adherence to health and safety regulations. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, a clean driving licence, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Full clean driving licence required.

  • Skilled in diagnostics and fault-finding.

Responsibilities

  • Complete planned maintenance visits and weekly testing.
  • Install and commission various fire and security systems.
  • Adhere to health & safety and compliance standards.
  • Provide professional service and strong customer support.
  • Participate in a 24-hour call-out rota as required.

Fire and Security Maintenance Engineer

Client:

Remuneration:

£35,000 - £45,000 DOE + excellent benefits package

Overview of Role:
  • Working within a motivated and expanding engineering team
  • Completing planned maintenance visits, weekly testing, and equipment servicing
  • Installing and commissioning a variety of systems including:
    • Fire & Intruder Alarms
    • CCTV
    • Access Control
    • Nurse Call & Disabled Refuge Systems
    • Emergency Lighting
  • Adhering to the highest standards of health & safety and compliance
  • Providing a professional service and strong customer support
  • Participating in a 24-hour call-out rota as required
  • Carrying out additional duties relevant to the role when requested
The Ideal Person:
  • Minimum 3 year's experience in a similar fire and security role
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Strong organisational ability with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator - both written and verbal
  • Skilled in diagnostics and fault-finding, with a logical and efficient approach to resolving issues
