Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Fire and Security Engineer to join their team, covering nationwide operations from a depot in York. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and installing fire and security systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and participating in the on-call rota. A full UK driving licence and flexibility for travel are essential. Competitive salary from £30,000 to £38,000 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control & Fire Alarms is essential.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills are required.
• Knowledge of SSAIB/BAFE standards is preferred.
• Full UK Driving Licence is mandatory.
• Flexibility for travel and call-out rota is necessary.

• Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota
• Ensure compliance with SSAIB and BAFE standards
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• Work safely, efficiently, and professionally at all times

Personal Requirements
