Job summary

Alecto Recruitment is seeking a Fire & Security Engineer to service, install and commission security systems across Midlands-based commercial and industrial sites. You will work with Intruder Alarms (Galaxy), CCTV and Access Control, with a 1-in-5 out-of-hours standby rota.

Essential to the role are proven Galaxy Intruder Alarm experience, strong Access Control and CCTV knowledge, a full clean UK driving licence, and CSCS or ECS certification. DBS check eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Essential: Galaxy Intruder Alarm experience, strong Access Control/CCTV knowledge, full clean UK driving licence, CSCS or ECS certification.
• Desirable: Water Utility site experience, PASMA certification, IPAF certification, EUSR Water Hygiene card holder

Responsibilities

• Servicing, installing and commissioning security systems across commercial/industrial sites in the Midlands.
• Work with Intruder Alarms (Galaxy), CCTV and Access Control.
• Participate in a 1-in-5 out-of-hours standby rota.
• Ensure installations/maintenance meet current compliance and customer requirements.

Salary: £42,000 - £46,000 Basic (Dependent on Experience)

Alecto Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable security solutions provider, seeking a skilled Fire & Security Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work across a range of systems including Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and the potential to expand into Fire Alarm systems.

Role Overview

As a Fire & Security Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing, installing, and commissioning security systems across commercial and industrial sites in the Midlands
• Working with a variety of systems including Intruder Alarms (particularly Galaxy), CCTV, and Access Control
• Participating in a 1-in-5 out-of-hours standby rota
• Ensuring all installations and maintenance meet current compliance standards and customer requirements

Requirements

Essential:

• Proven experience with Galaxy Intruder Alarm systems
• Strong working knowledge of Access Control and CCTV systems
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Valid CSCS or ECS certification
• Eligibility to pass a DBS check

Desirable:

• Previous experience working on Water Utility sites
• PASMA and IPAF certified
• EUSR Water Hygiene card holder
