Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fire and Security Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of a wide range of fire and security systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, commission, and maintain fire alarm and detection systems.
  • Service and inspect portable fire‑fighting equipment.
  • Work on mechanical fire suppression systems and perform room integrity testing.
  • Install and maintain intruder alarm systems, access control systems, and CCTV systems.
  • Configure and maintain automated gates and barrier systems.
  • Set up and manage remote monitoring solutions for security systems.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant British Standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and technical support.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in fire and security engineering.
  • Knowledge of fire safety regulations and security system standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., FIA training, BAFE Certified, NSI training) are mandatory.
  • Valid Enhanced DBS.
