Job description

We have an opportunity for a Fire Alarm Technician to join us at Honeywell, in Hounslow, where you will be responsible for the servicing and repair of bespoke fire alarm equipment and associated fire life safety systems. This is a fixed site role, working night shifts from 8.00pm to 4.00am Sunday to Thursday.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance of fire alarm systems
  • Respond to fault calls promptly, ensuring systems remain fully operational
  • Recommend upgrade opportunities for obsolete or end-of-life equipment
  • Collaborate with engineering colleagues on joint projects
  • Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota, providing support when urgent issues arise
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in fire alarm maintenance and experience within the fire industry
  • Computer literacy with an understanding of networking
  • Working knowledge of BS5389 requirements
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Vesda aspirating systems and understanding of PAVA systems would be advantageous
