Locations: Multiple roles available across the Midlands

Salary: £35,000‑£45,000 basic + paid travel + overtime + benefits

Employment Type: Full‑time, Permanent

Are you a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer looking for your next move? If you're based in the Midlands, here at Cento we're on the lookout for talented Engineers.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Servicing and fault‑finding on addressable fire alarm systems
  • Diagnosing faults quickly and carrying out minor remedial works
  • Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and responding to reactive issues
  • Managing your own schedule and workload efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating clearly with clients
  • Ensuring all work complies with BS5839 and internal quality standards
  • Providing remote support – most callouts are resolved over the phone
  • Participating in callout rotas (light demand, mostly advisory)
What You'll Need:
  • Proven experience servicing fire alarm systems
  • Confident working on networked panels and complex systems
  • Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
  • Comfortable working in commercial and high‑end environments
  • Full UK driving licence
  • ECS card, FIA units, or manufacturer training (desirable)
  • Experience with GENT and/or Siemens systems (advantageous)
