A fire and security company is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Engineer in the Hampshire area. This field-based role involves servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding on fire safety systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with fire alarm systems and knowledge of industry standards. Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems (addressable and conventional).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on fire detection systems.
• Attend reactive callouts and fault-finding tasks.
• Complete accurate service reports in line with BS5839 standards.

Skills

Servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems

Knowledge of BS5839 and relevant industry standards

Proactive communication skills

Education

FIA training or equivalent
