Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fire protection systems and engineering principles, with expertise in system design, installation, and inspection. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as hands‑on experience with fire alarm systems and fire sprinkler fittings. The Fire Engineer will work closely with construction teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement fire protection systems, including fire alarms and sprinkler systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to develop effective fire safety solutions.
  • Conduct inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with fire safety codes and regulations.
  • Utilize CAD software for system design and layout of fire protection equipment.
  • Provide field service support for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems.
  • Collaborate with contractors and clients to assess needs and provide technical guidance on fire safety measures.
  • Maintain knowledge of the Electrical Code (NEC) as it pertains to low voltage systems.
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting of sensors, alarms, and other fire protection devices.
  • Use hand tools and power tools effectively during installation and maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in fire protection engineering or a related field.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various hand tools and power tools.
  • Familiarity with construction processes and standards related to fire safety.
  • Experience in alarm system sales or service technician roles is .
  • Must have experience in GENT and Siemans alrms systems.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, contractors, and team members.
