Job summary

A leading engineering company is seeking experienced Fire Alarm Engineers. The role requires a current CSCS or ECS card and a full UK Driving license. Responsibilities include installing fire alarm and CCTV systems with a competitive daily rate of up to £250. The positions are temporary and available nationwide. Flexibility to work Monday to Friday and overtime opportunities are also provided.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a current CSCS or ECS card.
  • Full UK Driving license is required.
  • Experience in installation and testing of fire alarm and CCTV systems.

Responsibilities

  • Install fire alarm/security CCTV equipment and carry out remedial works.
  • Test systems and ensure effective time management in projects.
  • Survey customer premises as required.

Skills

Experience in fire systems (Alarms and lighting)
CSCS or ECS cards
Experience in CCTV systems
Previous experience in a customer-based environment
Ability to lift and climb ladders
17th or 18th Edition certification

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading engineering company in their search for Fire Alarm Engineers based Nationwide.

Due to the amount of work, the company is looking to add to their current team of Engineers, you MUST hold a current CSCS or ECS card and you MUST have a full UK Driving license as travel will be required.

For the successful Fire Alarm Engineers our client is offering:
  • A daily rate of up to £250 per day (depending on experience)
  • Days Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm with a degree of flexibility required
  • Temporary ongoing positions
  • Overtime available at 1.5 and X 2
  • Company vehicle
  • 20 days holidays + bank holidays
  • Uniform & PPE provided
  • Expenses payable when working away
The role - Fire Alarm Engineer:
  • Carry out the installation of new fire alarm / Security CCTV equipment and remedial works on fire alarm, security CCTV systems and emergency lighting systems and any required certification
  • To carry out testing.
  • Working closely with the projects team, ensuring time managed effectively and prioritisation of jobs.
  • Carry out surveys on customer premises when required.
What our client is looking for in a Fire Alarm Engineer:
  • Experience in the fire systems, (Alarms and lighting)
  • CSCS or ECS cards are essential
  • Experience in CCTV systems
  • Previous experience working in a customer based environment.
  • Full UK Driving license will accept someone with 3 points
  • Ability to lift and climb ladders
  • 17th or 18th Edition - advantageous
