Job summary

Get Staff is recruiting a Fire Alarm Engineer for East London on a full-time, permanent basis. The role covers installations, maintenance and servicing across multiple sites in East London and surrounding areas. A driving licence is essential and experience with fire alarm systems is preferred.

Salary ranges from £36,000 to £45,000 per annum with overtime negotiable and a company vehicle on offer. The position includes standard benefits and opportunities for on-going training and career

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Desirable IPAF, CSCS/ECS, FIA and City & Guilds certifications.
• Willing to train in additional disciplines.
• Experience in fire alarms is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, repair, fault-finding and maintain fire alarms, emergency lighting and related systems.
• Field-based role covering a number of sites in East London and surrounding areas.
• Work with a range of manufacturer brands to deliver quality installations and services.
• Take responsibility for the overall quality of work and communication with customers.
• Ensure tasks are completed efficiently and provide support to team members when required.

Our client is seeking a Fire Alarm Engineer to join their valued team on a full‑time, permanent basis. With many years of experience in the industry, they are expanding due to increased customer demand.

Responsibilities

• Installation, Service, Repair, Fault‑finding & Maintenance of Fire Alarms, Emergency lighting and other related systems
• Field‑based role, covering a number of sites
• Working on a range of manufacturer brands
• Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered
• Carry out effective communication with customers at all times
• Ensure tasks are completed efficiently
• Providing support to team members where required

Skills and Experience Required

• A Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent (Essential)
• A drive and enthusiasm to grab hold of opportunities
• Ideally at least 3 years of experience within the Fire Industry (Not essential)
• Consideration for applicants with any discipline, provided you are willing to train
• Knowledge of a range of manufacturers
• Desirable qualifications include: IPAF, CSCS/ECS, FIA and/or City & Guilds
• A positive attitude and the ability to self‑motivate
