Qualifications

• Experienced Fire Alarm Engineer with excellent knowledge of fire systems.
• Strong understanding of alarm protocols and relevant software.
• Must hold a UK Driving licence with max 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on fire alarm systems.
• Carry out system upgrades and panel replacements.
• Test emergency lighting and report work progress.

Skills

Knowledge of fire suppression systems

Excellent technical understanding of alarm protocols

Experience with systems such as GENT, Kentec, Advanced

Overview

Our client is a leading fire protection company providing fire detection and suppression equipment. Staffbase has been appointed to recruit for the position of Fire Alarm Engineer.

Role

The Fire Alarm Engineer Team will operate as a field service engineer and you will be responsible for service and repair of fire alarm systems throughout Scotland.

Duties will include:

• Planned and reactive maintenance and testing of various fire alarm systems
• Carry out alarm system upgrades, panel swaps and replacements
• Emergency lighting testing
• Work closely with the service manager to communicate daily and weekly work progress updates

Compensation

Excellent basic salary £35K - £38K + Travel time + Commission OTE £45K-£48K

Candidate

You will be an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer with excellent knowledge of fire suppression, leak detection and aspiration systems.

You will also have excellent technical understanding of alarm protocols and software systems such as GENT, Kentec and Advanced.

We will consider engineers with extinguisher experience provided your alarm skills are excellent.

Must hold a UK Driving licence. Max 6 points.
