Job summary

INDAV in Kent is seeking a Fire Alarm Engineer to service and install conventional and addressable systems across commercial, industrial and residential sites. This field-based role has no London travel and offers a local, stable position with an on-call rota.

You will work with Kentec, Advanced, Morley, C-TEC, Notifier or similar equipment, performing maintenance, fault finding and commissioning, with a company vehicle and ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Fire Alarm Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of servicing and installing fire alarm systems.
• Experience with manufacturers such as Kentec, Advanced, Morley, C TEC, Notifier, Gent or similar.
• Good fault finding and diagnostic skills.
• Understanding of BS5839.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and install conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive call outs.
• Fault finding and diagnosing system issues.
• Small works, remedial repairs and additional device installations.
• Commissioning of fire alarm systems where required.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and service documentation.
• Provide a professional service while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
• Participate in the on call rota.

About the Company

I'm currently working with a well established fire protection company that has built a strong reputation for delivering high quality fire alarm solutions across Kent. With a loyal customer base and a growing portfolio of commercial and residential contracts, they're looking to expand their engineering team due to continued growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer looking for a local role with no London travel, covering Kent only.

The Role

This is a varied role combining both service and installation work on conventional and addressable fire alarm systems across a range of commercial, industrial and residential sites.

• Service, maintain and install conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
