Fortus Recruitment are a recruitment company that specialise in placing people within the repairs & maintenance industry.

We are currently working on behalf of a Local Authority.

My client is currently looking for an Install / Commissioning Engineer (active fire) for a permanent position. The role involves installation and commissioning work in commercial properties in South London and surrounding areas.

This role will be predominantly installation/commissioning based, but the engineer may also undertake small works, fault finding, repair and remedial tasks.

You must have experience on fire systems such as Advanced, Morley, Kentech, Gent. You must also have experience on an aspiration system and GENT is preferable but not essential; my client will invest heavily in training and courses for the right candidate.

Requirements
  • Min. 15-20 years experience in fire systems
  • Stable work history
  • Worked to the BAFESP203 programme
  • Fire alarm and emergency light certification
  • Strong fire system set‑up, configuration and technical knowledge
  • Full, clean driver’s licence
  • Van and fuel card included
