Job summary

allpay Limited, a fast-growing UK Fintech, is hiring a Software Engineer for our Research and Development team. You will help gather requirements, design software, and participate in Agile ceremonies to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Ideal candidates bring strong C#, .NET, and SQL Server experience, plus familiarity with Azure and possibly frontend work. We value continual learning and collaboration across teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with object-oriented programming, especially C# and .NET.
• Experience with SQL Server or similar via Management interface or software apps.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in requirements gathering to support design, development and implementation.
• Participate in Agile team to develop software designs and specifications.
• Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Design software with extensibility, maintainability, supportability and configurability in mind.
• Provide support and consultancy to colleagues and other areas as required.
• Maintain and improve current skillset by studying state-of-the-art development tools and techniques.
