Job summary

A leading FinTech company is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join their Newcastle team. In this role, you will focus on creating and optimizing infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for complex financial software. The ideal candidate will have a 2:1 degree or higher in Computer Science, strong scripting and coding skills (C#, Java, or Python), and experience with automation tools like Terraform and Docker. This is a full-time position based in the UK, offering the chance to work in an innovative environment.

Qualifications

• 2:1 degree or above in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Strong scripting skills with PowerShell or similar.
• Hands-on coding experience in C#, Java, or Python.
• Familiarity with automation tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with container platforms such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of monitoring solutions like ELK or Grafana.
• Proven CI/CD pipeline management skills, preferably with TeamCity.
• Experience with SQL databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server.
• Comfortable in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration.
