Job summary

TradingHub is seeking a FinOps Lead to manage cloud investments as it scales its cloud-based platform. You will bridge Engineering, Finance and Product to drive visibility and accountability in cloud expenditures, optimize costs and support sustainable growth.

The role emphasizes governance, cost transparency and collaboration with multiple teams, including optimizing commitments and reporting for informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience managing cloud expenditures at scale
• Strong understanding of AWS and cloud-native infrastructure
• Knowledge of cloud billing models and cost optimization techniques
• Experience with FinOps tools and cost management
• Familiarity with tagging, cost allocation and chargeback frameworks
• Ability to analyze cloud consumption and financial data for optimization
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee cloud cost management and optimization across the environment
• Monitor usage to identify waste and improve efficiency
• Implement cost allocation, tagging standards and chargeback models
• Manage cloud commitments like Reserved Instances and Savings Plans
• Collaborate with Engineering and Finance to forecast spending and investments
• Establish governance, tools and reporting for cost-conscious decisions
