Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience in transport planning, logistics coordination, or fleet scheduling.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK road network.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily transport operations for collections, deliveries, installations, and removals.
• Optimise vehicle routes and resource allocation to maximise efficiency and minimise costs.
• Coordinate driver schedules, vehicle availability and specialist teams.
• Monitor transport activities and respond to delays or customer requests.
• Ensure all transport documentation is prepared and maintained accurately.
• Maintain compliance with UK transport regulations and company procedures.
• Track vehicle movements and provide regular operational updates.
• Assist with fleet planning and maintenance scheduling.
