Job summary

Experis UK is seeking an experienced Financial Engineer in London to develop fullstack applications that automate processes and reduce risk. You will design backend services with Java and other languages while applying microservices and event-driven patterns.

You will work cross-functionally to meet business goals, communicate complex ideas to leaders, and respond quickly to issues, coordinating work across multiple sites with discipline in coding practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python is required, with familiarity in other programming languages such as Java, C++, Go, Rust.
• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, including microservices and event driven architecture.
• Familiarity with containerisation using Docker, and experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with data science and analytics techniques, including machine learning and statistical modelling.
• Experience with database management systems, including relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Dash or other UI frameworks is a nice to have.
