Job summary

MHP Group is seeking an Account Manager to lead day-to-day client activity, mentor the team, and drive proactive media opportunities for a portfolio of high-profile financial services clients.

You will cultivate strong client relationships, develop communications programmes to meet objectives, and stay ahead of media trends across traditional and digital channels. Hybrid working with some remote days is available.

Qualifications

• Have communications experience working in either agency or in-house roles.
• Be passionate about financial services and have some experience of working with clients in the sector.
• Have experience of working across corporate positioning, brand-building and reputation management briefs.

Responsibilities

• Lead on day-to-day client activity and teams.
• Proactively seek and manage media opportunities for clients.
• Develop and cultivate key media relationships.
• Maintain an understanding of clients’ business objectives, media and issues in their wider industry sector.
• Manage and develop communications programmes to meet client objectives.
• Assist with new business preparation and pitching.
• Keep up to date with social media trends and develop material for MHP’s digital offering.
• Mentor junior team members.
