Overview

Join EY’s Financial Services (FS) Tax practice as a Senior Advisor and help clients meet the complex demands of today’s tax environment. You will manage relationships with key local and national clients, delivering services and introducing deep specialists as required.

Your focus will be on tax compliance, reporting and audit while also getting involved in advisory and transaction work. Working in our FS Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) team will allow you to serve and strengthen relationships with our clients locally and make significant contributions to a number of national accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to building and maintaining key client relationships by delivering exceptional client service.
  • Ensure technical excellence and a practical, business‑driven approach to all projects.
  • Identify and drive opportunities, using your knowledge from other projects and technical training to contribute to new proposals.
  • Build strong client and internal relationships, developing and using your network skills.
  • Counsel and develop junior staff through delegation and on‑the‑job training.

Qualifications
  • Experience in corporate tax with a large accountancy or law firm, HMRC, or in‑house tax team.
  • Preferred: ACA, ACCA, CA, or CTA (or equivalent breadth of knowledge).
  • Graduate or graduate‑calibre background with relevant work experience.
  • Experience in tax reporting, tax compliance, and general advisory, including new tax legislation and regulatory reporting.
  • Understanding of HMRC relationships, tax due diligence, structuring advice, and international tax strategy.
