A leading financial services firm is seeking an Audit Senior/Supervisor to manage audit activities across investment trusts and corporate entities. The successful candidate will provide oversight for the audit process, train assistants, and develop client relationships while working flexibly across Scotland. We are looking to recruit a Financial Services Audit Senior or Supervisor to work full-time within our Financial Services audit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day work across a portfolio of investment trusts/VCTs, investment/wealth managers and other corporate entities within the financial services space. They would also play a key role in the development of the team and in the planned growth and capitalisation on new business opportunities. The team is largely based in Scotland, but there will be opportunities to work on North of England and London-based clients also.
We are looking to recruit an Audit professional to be responsible for managing the day‑time Audit work; flag up issues and concerns to the Audit Manager at an early stage; train Assistants as needed; ensure deadlines and budgets are met, and the Audit file is presented for review as a substantially complete file, finished to a good standard and signed off.
