Financial Services Administrator

Permanent Salary: £25,000pa

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm 100% office based – own transport essential due to location
  • Annual Leave: 25 days per year, rising annually after 3 years of service (up to 7 years). Bank holidays in addition. Offices close between Christmas and New Year
  • Bonus Scheme: Included in the annual employee bonus programme
  • Pension: 4% employer contribution
  • Private Medical Insurance: Available after 1 year of service

A well‑established financial planning practice in the Kent countryside is seeking a highly organised and proactive Financial Advisor Support professional. This role is ideal for someone with Financial Services experience who enjoys a client‑facing environment and thrives in a busy, detail‑focused setting.

The Role

Working closely with a team of Financial Advisers, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining client files and accurately updating client records
  • Collating and preparing client information
  • Producing illustrations, calculations, and supporting documentation
  • Ensuring all new business is processed compliantly and within agreed timeframes
  • Managing pipeline business from start to completion
  • Liaising daily with third parties, paraplanners, and internal colleagues
  • Providing day‑to‑day support to advisors, including email and phone communication, task reminders, and client liaison
  • Preparing for client meetings and completing all follow‑up actions
  • Producing ad hoc reports and responding to client queries
The Person

This role would suit a confident, professional individual who is highly organised and enjoys working in a client‑focused environment.

  • Confidence in dealing with colleagues, clients, and third parties with complete discretion
  • Financial Services experience (highly beneficial)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport
  • Strong attention to detail and to problem‑solve effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and broader Office applications
  • Strong time‑management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
