Job summary

Wight Healthcare in Southampton is seeking a capable finance professional to join our Financial Services team. You will support the Trust Cash Team by processing financial information, ensuring accuracy of main exchequer accounts and patient funds.

You will assist with cashier functions across the organisation and contribute to the production of the Trust's annual statutory accounts and audit tasks, delivering reliable accounting support in line with procedures.

Job description

The postholder will join a friendly and supportive Financial Services team, working within the Trust Cash Team to help maintain strong financial control across the organisation. You will be responsible for processing financial information in line with established procedures and providing reliable, professional accounting support to ensure the accuracy of the Trust's main exchequer accounts and other areas including patient funds.
