Job Title: Financial Risk Analytics Analyst

Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail‑oriented analyst to join our innovative Financial Risk Analytics team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and support of our advanced financial risk solutions, working with some of the latest technologies in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily Support for Risk as a Service (RaaS) Solution: Provide robust support for our RaaS solution, ensuring seamless daily operations and exceptional client experience.
  • Data Analysis and Operations: Conduct comprehensive data analysis on the S&P Global Data estate and Financial Risk Analytics’ Risk Factor Utility; manage data quality, ensuring accurate and reliable information for our end‑to‑end workflow.
  • System Issue Investigation: Investigate and troubleshoot system issues, focusing on data quality and reconciliation, and implement proactive measures to identify and resolve potential problems before they impact our Risk as a Service solution.
  • Feature Implementation and Testing: Assist in the implementation, testing, and documentation of new features, ensuring they meet our rigorous standards, and collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Competencies
  • 0 to 2 years of experience.
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or other Business area.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience using Python, R, or other programming languages.
  • Highly proficient communication skills, both written and oral. Personally engaging.
  • Able to positively engage with, and contribute to, the wider global team.
  • Willing to work occasional evenings and/or weekends to accommodate client deadlines and time‑zone differences.
  • Interest in financial markets.
