Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting.
• Manage consolidated accounts across entities.
• Prepare statutory accounts with IFRS, US GAAP and UK GAAP.
• Own year-end and interim audit processes and be the main auditor contact.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Ensure internal controls and governance compliance.
• Provide technical accounting support to the wider finance team.
• Support acquisitions, disposals and integration from a reporting perspective.
• Drive improvements in reporting processes, systems and controls.
• Partner with senior finance and operational stakeholders to provide financial insight.
• Lead finance transformation and system enhancement projects.
• Lead and develop the financial reporting team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong ACA-qualified accountant with significant group consolidation experience to join a business offering strong career progression and exposure to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual group financial reporting.
• Manage the production of consolidated accounts across multiple entities.
• Prepare statutory accounts and ensure compliance with IFRS , US GAAP and UK GAAP.
• Own the year-end and interim audit processes, acting as the key contact for external auditors.
• Review and maintain robust balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and governance requirements.
• Provide technical accounting support across the wider finance team.
• Support acquisitions, disposals, and integration activities from a reporting perspective.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, systems, and controls.
• Partner with senior finance and operational stakeholders to provide financial insight and analysis.
• Assist with finance transformation and system enhancement projects where required.
• Lead and develop members of the financial reporting team.

Essential Experience

• ACA qualified (practice-trained preferred).
• Proven experience within a Group Financial Reporting Manager, Financial Reporting Manager or similar technical accounting role.
• Strong experience preparing group consolidations for multi-entity organisations.
• Detailed knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience managing external audits and auditor relationships.
• Strong technical accounting background with excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong systems experience.
• Experience working within a medium to large, complex business environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
