Job summary

ICAEW is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to lead a small team responsible for timely and accurate financial, statutory and management reporting, ensuring IFRS and UK GAAP compliance and robust controls.

You will manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end closes, oversee statutory accounts, collaborate with auditors and drive continuous improvement, automation and efficiencies across reporting processes, with hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days at home).

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Strong financial reporting and statutory accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end and year-end reporting cycles.
• Experience leading or supervising a small finance team.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP/reporting systems.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of management accounts and financial reporting packs.
• Coordinate the production of statutory accounts in line with IFRS and/or UK GAAP.
• Ensure balance sheet integrity through review of reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Act as the key contact for external and internal auditors.
• Maintain strong financial controls and governance processes.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support senior management decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation and reporting efficiencies.
• Partner with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business.
