Job summary

JW Lees in Middleton, Manchester is hiring a Financial Reporting Analyst to join our finance team on a full-time, office-based basis. You will produce and analyse daily, weekly and monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders, help maintain and develop reporting, and support budgeting and Power BI deployment.

The ideal candidate is part-qualified or finalist with at least 2 years in accounting/finance, strong Excel and data accuracy, and the ability to explain financial metrics to

Qualifications

• Part qualified accountant / finalist with at least 2 years' experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent communication to explain metrics to non-financial colleagues.
• Good team player and able to work independently.
• Excellent IT skills, especially Excel.
• Experience with Dynamics Nav, Jet Reports, Power BI is beneficial but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provision and analysing of daily, weekly and monthly reports for stakeholders.
• Maintain and develop reporting in collaboration with business users.
• Own cost centre reporting and interpretation for heads of departments.
• Support the annual company budget delivery.
• Assist with ad hoc data reporting and analysis.
• Support Power BI implementation journey in the business.
