Qualifications

  • Fully Qualified Accountant.
  • Experience preparing statutory accounts.
  • Proven track record in finance project management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Significant reconciliation experience, including error identification and correction.
  • High attention to detail.

Financial Reporting Accountant, Swindon (100% remote is available) £25-30 an hour, 3 months

Are you a Qualified Accountant with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality financial reporting? We are seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to lead a critical finance project and ensure robust financial governance across the organisation.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the financial accounting process for a designated finance project. This includes overseeing year-end reporting, statutory disclosures, and IR35 compliance, while driving the project to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Year-End
  • Establish and manage financial accounts for the allocated project
  • Prepare all statutory disclosures and ensure readiness for group year-end reporting
  • Project Management
  • Lead and deliver the finance project to completion
  • Support ad hoc tasks within the financial accounts team
  • Lead the review and enhancement of IR35 compliance processes
  • Design and implement a streamlined contractor evaluation system in line with current legislation and business needs
  • Training, Experience and Qualifications
    • Fully Qualified Accountant
    • Experience preparing statutory accounts
    • Proven track record in finance project management

    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
    • Effective collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial data
