A leading life insurance group is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager in London. This permanent role involves ownership of planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across UK and European entities, providing strong visibility with senior finance stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong FP&A experience, be a qualified accountant, and have exposure to IFRS 17. The position offers a competitive salary up to £100,000, along with bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
• Strong FP&A experience within life insurance or wider financial services.
• Exposure to IFRS 17 and Solvency II.
• Excellent analytical, modelling and communication skills.
• Confident working with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the expense budgeting, reforecasting and monthly performance cycle.
• Produce clear analysis and commentary on cost drivers, variances and trends.
• Work closely with actuarial colleagues to align expense inputs and allocations for Solvency II.
• Enhance models, MI and reporting frameworks to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Partner with local finance teams across Europe to ensure consistent, high-quality expense reporting.
