Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a Commercial FP&A Analyst in Leeds. The role involves delivering weekly/daily KPI reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and providing commercial analysis to guide business decisions.

You will work with the Finance Manager and senior finance team, focusing on brand royalty reporting, month-end P&L, overhead analysis and stakeholder engagement. Hybrid working with study support is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in FP&A, management accounting or commercial finance.
• Confident with financial data and producing meaningful analysis.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Comfortable working with stakeholders across a business.
• Commercially curious and able to challenge financial performance.
• Interested in developing career in commercial finance/FP&A with study support.

Are you a commercially minded finance professional looking to take the next step in your career within FP&A?

I’m currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial FP&A Analyst to join a well-established business based in Leeds, working closely with the Commercial Finance Manager and wider senior finance team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in FP&A, management accounting or commercial finance who enjoys analysing data, understanding business performance and turning numbers into meaningful insight.

The Role

As Commercial FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Producing and enhancing weekly and daily retail KPI reporting
• Supporting the Finance Manager and Head of Finance with budgeting and forecasting
• Providing insightful commercial analysis to support business decision-making
• Preparing monthly brand reporting, including royalty analysis
• Managing month-end channel P&L reporting
• Providing overhead analysis and support
• Identifying trends, variances and opportunities within business performance
• Working closely with key stakeholders across the wider business

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience within FP&A, management accounting or commercial finance
• Is confident working with financial data and producing meaningful analysis
• Has strong Excel and analytical skills
• Enjoys working with stakeholders across a business
• Is commercially curious and able to challenge and investigate financial performance
• Is keen to continue developing their career within commercial finance/FP&A

The Package

Salary: Up to £40,000

Study Support: Available

Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2 days office / 3 days home
