The Opportunity: Reporting to the Head of Business Performance, you'll lead Financial Planning & Analysis for Triodos UK. This is a varied and challenging role where you will have significant autonomy and the opportunity to shape financial decision-making, offering real impact on both the business and its wider mission. You will coordinate annual budgets, manage forecasting, analyse income streams and costs, oversee product profitability models, support pricing decisions, and contribute to stress testing.
Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Lead the annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycle, consolidating financial data and presenting accurate updates to management and the Group.
- Deliver robust budgets and financial reports, using Excel and Tagetik.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the UK and Group Finance.
Performance Reporting
- Develop and track KPIs, monitor financial/non-financial deliverables, and present business performance insights to senior management.
- Manage the TBUK Business Performance Pack and refine reporting based on stakeholder feedback.
Business Partnering
- Provide supportive and challenging business partnering across Retail and Business Banking.
- Facilitate Trading Forums and promote commercial performance through profitability modelling.
Business Strategy
- Support strategic development with business case modelling and integrate all financial considerations into reviews.
- Track progress against long‑term strategic goals.
Effective Risk Management & Control
- Embed governance and control frameworks, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage Finance's Business Continuity Plan.
Operational Effectiveness
- Drive process efficiency, support business projects, and champion continuous improvement.
Leadership and Management
- Lead and develop your team, set clear objectives, and foster a culture of open feedback and growth.
Other Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date accounting knowledge, provide cover for team members, and support as required.
Qualifications
- Relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) and strong post‑qualification financial planning and management experience, ideally within financial services.
- Strong stakeholder management, clear communication, and the ability to work both strategically and hands‑on.
- A commercial mindset, strong leadership skills, and alignment with Triodos' values.
- Proficiency in building financial models and advanced Excel skills.
In return for your hard work and expertise, you will receive a competitive full‑time equivalent salary of between £78,000 and £82,000 depending on experience, plus access to our extensive benefits package, where most of our benefits are non‑contributory.
