With a strong focus on performance, innovation and continuous improvement, the business is investing in its finance capabilities and developing a more technology-enabled, data-driven approach to financial planning and reporting.

Role Overview

We are looking for an ambitious Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst (FP&A Analyst) to join a dynamic finance function on a permanent basis. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis, providing meaningful financial insight to senior stakeholders across the organisation.

Responsibilities of the Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst:
  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning, including rolling forecasts and scenario modelling.
  • Produce monthly performance reporting and variance analysis across revenue, gross margin, operational costs and overheads.
  • Develop FP&A reporting tools, dashboards and planning systems, supporting greater automation and standardisation of financial reporting.
  • Prepare financial analysis and reporting for senior leadership while contributing to wider finance transformation, systems and data-quality initiatives.
Requirements of the Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst:
  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA or CIMA, ideally with previous FP&A or financial analysis experience.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with advanced Microsoft Excel capability and confidence interpreting complex financial data.
  • Proactive and inquisitive approach, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
  • Experience with FP&A or planning systems, Power BI, Power Query, ERP systems or data-driven reporting would be advantageous.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000.
  • Permanent, full-time position.
  • Monday to Friday working pattern.
  • Early finish at 12:30pm every Friday.
  • Opportunity to develop within a modern and evolving FP&A function.
  • Exposure to finance transformation, planning technology and senior-level financial reporting.
Working hours:

07:30 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 07:30 - 12:30 Friday.
