Qualifications

  • Experience providing administrative support to advisers in wealth management.
  • Proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Pensions and investment product knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide new business processing for sales consultants and liaise with product providers.
  • Assist with valuations, transfers and client reviews to support meetings.
  • Keep client and consultant updated on financial matters.
  • Ensure client data stored accurately on the system and compliant.
  • Prepare invoices and issue policy documents within timelines.
  • Provide post-meeting admin support and ensure timely completion.
  • Report complaints or breaches to Compliance Manager.

We offer leading multi-asset investment services to intermediaries, and high-quality financial planning advice to private clients, benefitting from a strong local presence across the UK.We offer fulfilling careers in an inclusive culture that values diversity, ambition and rewards high performance.Our values (we call them our guiding principles) underpin our culture and are at the heart of everything we do:* we do the right thing* we are connected* we care* we make a differenceWe welcome talented people from all backgrounds who live our guiding principles and are focused on ensuring good outcomes for our clients.Role OverviewTo provide dedicated, accurate and efficient sales support service for agreed Financial Planning ConsultantsRole Responsibilities* Providing an efficient new business processing service for sales consultants, completing trades/fund switches, and liaising with product providers and ensuring that new business is set up correctly* Providing administration support in relation to valuations, transfer of servicing and client reviews to allow sales consultants to conduct efficient client meetings* Providing an effective link between the client and the consultant ensuring that both are kept up to date with all matters relating to their financial affairs* Ensuring that all client information is stored on the relevant system, and it is updated accurately and timely checking that all compliance requirements are met* Preparing invoices for work completed for clients* Issuing original policy documents to clients where appropriate and checking that copy documents / contract notes are issued within the agreed turnaround timescale ensuring they are accurate and reflect the requirements of the client* Provide post meeting administration support to consultants ensuring that all work is completed within agreed timescales* Ensuring that any complaints (formal or informal), breaches or losses are reported to the Compliance Manager at the earliest possible opportunity* To undertake reasonable additional duties at the request of your Line Manager as may be required from time to timeKnowledge, Skills and Experience* Experience providing administrative support to advisers within a wealth management organisation* Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook* Demonstrable pensions and investment product knowledge* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written* Prioritise and plan own workload, with an ability to effectively manage own time and achieve strict time scales* Working towards the CII Level 4 qualification desirable* A knowledge of Intelligent Office desirableWe value different ways of working and actively promote flexible working across our business.
