About the job

Financial Planner - London. Our client is a leading organization with UK and global offices, offering a unique advice proposition that supports expanding their presence in London and the Southeast.

As a Financial Planner in London, you will work alongside the Director of the UK business, advising face-to-face with UK-wide clients (majority in the South East) on medium to longer-term financial objectives. You will also support the Head of Repatriation with clients returning to the UK.

You will be responsible for advising in areas including Lump Sum Investment, Retirement Planning, Life Insurance, and General Estate Tax Planning.

Responsibilities
  • Advising clients on medium to longer-term financial objectives in a face-to-face capacity.
  • Covering areas such as Lump Sum Investment, Retirement Planning, Life Insurance, and General Estate Tax Planning.
  • Working with the Director of the UK business and supporting the Head of Repatriation.
Desired Skill & Experience
  • A proven track record of success within an Advisory / Relationship Management capacity in a financial services organisation (e.g., bank, brokerage, or IFA).
  • Level 4 RDR UK Diploma (or equivalent if not UK based); ideally Chartered.
  • A proactive and entrepreneurial attitude that generates new business while maintaining client relationships in a holistic way.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Financial Planner.
  • Self-employed split of business or employed with a competitive basic salary + bonus scheme.
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
  • Flexible working hours and the option to work from home/ remotely.
  • Full support of an in-house paraplanner.
  • In-house marketing team to support campaigns.
  • In-depth training in Repatriation and offshore solutions.
