Financial Planning Today in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Financial Planner to join a structured succession plan and build a substantial portfolio of client relationships.
This field-based role offers autonomy with support from paraplanning and an established client portfolio, flexible work patterns, and a pathway to long-term succession in a well-capitalised national firm.
An established national wealth management firm is looking to appoint an experienced Financial Planner as part of a long-term succession plan.
The opportunity would suit an Adviser who can bring a small number of established client relationships with them but wants the security and growth potential of joining a well-capitalised business. You will work closely with a highly experienced Senior Financial Planner who is gradually winding down and looking to transition a significant portfolio of clients to the right person.
This will be a carefully managed handover rather than an immediate transfer. You will attend joint meetings, build relationships with clients and progressively take responsibility for their ongoing financial planning. The firm can also provide high-quality leads and further client opportunities to help you develop a substantial long-term portfolio.
You will provide holistic, independent financial planning and ongoing advice to a diverse portfolio of HNW and UHNW clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
You will already be an experienced Financial Planner with a strong track record of providing holistic advice and managing ongoing client relationships.
Ideally, you will:
The firm offers:
This is a genuinely field-based position with no requirement for regular office attendance. You will be aligned with the firm’s Glasgow office, where your paraplanning and administrative support teams will be based, but you will have the flexibility to manage your diary and work in the way that best suits your clients.
For an experienced Adviser considering the next stage of their career, this offers an unusual combination of autonomy, financial security, inherited client opportunities and a credible long-term succession plan.
