Job summary

Gigaclear plc in Abingdon is seeking a talented FP&A professional to lead financial modelling, forecasting and strategic analysis. You will develop, maintain and challenge robust models to inform decision-making across the business.

In this hybrid role you will partner with senior stakeholders, deliver rolling forecasts, annual budgeting, and long-range planning, and provide clear financial storytelling to support growth of the fibre broadband network.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent and proven experience in a similar role.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with data storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of core Excel-based financial models using best-practice techniques.
• Build and maintain models to assess financial viability of new initiatives and support long-term planning.
• Run rolling monthly packs, forecasts, long-term planning and annual budgeting files.
• Develop and adapt models for business case appraisal, scenario planning and stress testing.
• Provide financial insights to support decisions including variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
• Identify enhancements to financial processes to improve reporting and performance.
